Bulk Importing Points from a list
Importing points in bulk from a list is a customized support task. There are some guidelines that must be followed and some steps that site schools must take in order for this mass import to take place in a timely fashion. All schools submitting a point import request must follow the instructions below when submitting their support ticket.
What is a Bulk Point Import?
School sites that need to award 100 or more students points based on criteria generated from a list may submit a support ticket for a bulk point import. This cannot be requested more than once in a given month. Common examples of this type of request are: Back to School point rollover, points for reaching Honor Roll, perfect attendance, or zero discipline infractions.

How do I submit a support request for a bulk point import?
Create a behavior code in Hero for this upload of points (EX: PtRollvr, HnrRoll, PAttend, etc) and assign it a default value of 1 hero point. Visit this resource if you need help building a positive behavior code |

Decide which school user account is issuing these points (Provide the username/email for this user) (When unsure, it is always a nice touch for students to receive these kinds of acknowledgment from the principal) |

Add the students receiving points to this template. (Each list for import must be on a separate spreadsheet or workbook tab)

Submit the completed template spreadsheet via email attachment to herosupport@schoolmint.com. If possible, use the subject line: Bulk Point import for (YOUR SCHOOL NAME)

Approximately how long does this process take?
If properly submitted and all the steps above are followed, the points should be available to students within one week of submitting the request.
